* New Location* Visit Our 14,000 Sq. Ft. Showroom! Established in 1969. Cole's was founded in 1969 by Howard & Dodie Cole, with 15 year old Jim Rease Cole working there after school from the get go. Originally opened as an art gallery, Jim was sent to apprentice as a custom framer. The store quickly evolved into the other categories as our customer base wanted us to pull it all together. Jim took over the business in 1989 when his mom and stepdad retired. Howard hired Jim's future wife in 1984, and their son Zack has been working here since he was 15 in 2005, continuing on as the 3rd generation.
