About the Contractor
Curated offers exclusive local access to a hand-picked collection of products from some of the revolutionary international design houses who inspired the RQ aesthetic. These include Kartell, Moooi, Moooi Carpets, Flos, Mineheart, Droog, Leff, Bontempi, and Reaching Quiet. It's a pet project with a focus on handmade furniture, lighting & accessories with stories to tell. Established in 2015. Since 2001 Reaching Quiet has been a prominent force in the design & artisan community, heading up the design-build component for local favorites: Stagioni, Barrington's, 5Church Charlotte & Charleston, Nan & Byron's, Nikko, Twenty-Two, Foxcroft Wine Company, and Embassy Suites at Ayrsley. RQ made their mark with ingenuitive use of highly refined concrete products, the creation of bespoke residential interiors, as well as sinks, bars, wall claddings and other custom products for commercial projects throughout the US. Curated by Reaching Quiet is the culmination of that history, relocating RQ's showpieces from Plaza Midwood to South End's Design District and offering exclusive local access to a hand-picked collection of products from some of the revolutionary international design houses who inspired the RQ aesthetic. It's a pet project with a focus on handmade furniture, lighting & accessories with stories to tell.
