Dovetails Joinery is a boutique custom joinery operation located on the shores of Georgia's Lake Oconee. Our passion is creating unique pieces that are at once beautiful to behold and functional for the lifetime of our customers. Our strong commitment to the use of quality materials and craftsmanship makes us peerless in the Lake area. Our location allows us to service the state of Georgia, along with the border areas of surrounding states. We specialize in resort communities and are always ready to create a masterpiece for the discerning homeowner. Established in 1997. In 1997, Sean Q. Gallagher began operating as an independent kitchen and bath design expert under the moniker "Sean Gallagher Design." In 2012, in an effort to have more control of the fabrication of his unique and detailed design work, Sean purchased Town and Country Custom Cabinets on Lake Oconee. In 2014 he reorganized his operation as "Dovetails Joinery, llc." The company has quickly become known as Lake Oconee's premier source for fine, heirloom quality custom cabinetry and furniture pieces. As word has spread, the company continues to travel to new locations to service the needs of their growing client base.
