We are Foundation Builders, Inc., a family-owned, full-service concrete company doing business in northern Colorado since 1972. We are a full-service company providing all your concrete foundation and flatwork requirements from excavation, material handling, basement window installations, to damp-proofing and backfill. Commercially, we can provide load-bearing concrete pads, industrial floors, simple to complex foundations, caissons and piers, and any other large concrete base. Residential projects range from starter homes to multi-million dollar custom homes and include full or walk-out basements, crawl spaces, retaining walls, vaults, plain or decorative driveways, sidewalks, patios, stairways and ramps. Established in 1972. Foundation Builders, Inc. is one of the oldest and largest concrete companies in northern Colorado, installing over 7,000 foundations since 1972 and is known for our expertise and quality. Our founder, Jack P. Renfroe graduated from the Univ. of Nebraska in 1964 as a Civil Engineer. Jack and his wife, Karen, moved to Greeley in 1966 where Jack worked for NHPQ. In 1972 Jack started Prebie-Renfroe Concrete in his basement with one set of wood forms and a worn out farm truck. In the early 70s they purchased a small shop on the east side of Greeley. Priebe left the company in 1976 and Foundations Inc. was established. In 1991, Foundations Inc. built a new office at their current location. Jack's son, Scott, joined the company in 1992 as an estimator. Today, Scott is the owner of Foundation Builders. Tom Neumaier, has been with the company since 1972 and is the General Manager. Troy White is the Supervisor of flatwork. Jack passed away in 2013. He will be dearly missed.
