My 3rd project with Kori and it turned out better than I thought it would. Kori helped me with updating builder grade light fixtures, adding a kitchen backsplash, painting my island and adding a backsplash to a wet bar. She selected several lighting options - all of which complimented my home perfectly. The kitchen backsplash had a few odd corners, and she suggested a creative solution to get a polished look. I would recommend Kori for design services. She selected quality products and can suggest reliable contractors for installation.

We were looking for a designer for our renovation project for a condo that we had purchased. The entire kitchen and 2 bathrooms were gutted, new flooring throughout, updating the staircases, lighting, etc. Working with Kori on this project was an absolute joy. Her enthusiasm for the project and the choices that she presented to us were fantastic. She was able to take our vision and make it happen, even exceeding our expectations!! Kori was very mindful of our budget and our swift timing to complete. Her choices of tile, lighting and along with paint color make our condo look like a totally new build.Kori & Tom are an excellent team--great attention to all the little details and finishing the project on time. Working with Kori for our kitchen renovation was a wonderful experience. We had not taken on a project of this size before and from the initial consultation to the final installation, she exceeded our expectations at every step. With not much more than an initial look at our space and a handful of Pinterest pictures of things we liked, she was able design a space that fit not only our functional needs but our tastes and style as well. Kori was very in tune with our budget and kept that in mind throughout the design process. We absolutely love the final result and cannot wait to work with her on our next home project.

Thank you Kori and JAM Home Services for transforming the second bathroom and laundry in my small home. This was not an easy job. I met with Kori, to talk about the project. She had great ideas, and came up with a floor plan. Kori and JAM worked together to get as much out of the space as possible. They were able to avoid the problems that working in a home built in 1945 might involve. JAM did their best to minimize the disruption of our home and cleaned up every day. They were always polite and cheerful, a pleasure to have around. The space is only 10.5 x 10.5 but we now have a beautiful tiled shower and floors, a much larger vanity and a laundry area complete with a utility sink and storage! These rooms were almost unusable, they are now a beautiful, comfortable, efficient space! We LOVE it! I would recommend Kori Steigerwald at Horizon Interior Design for her expertise in interior design. Her choice of materials and fixtures worked beautifully with the rest of my home. Would I use her services again? YES!

I had my home repainted over a year ago, and was looking for someone to help with decorating my kitchen, dining room and living room. (These rooms are very large with no separating walls and it's an open space with cathedral ceilings.) I wanted to make everything feel colorful and welcoming, but had no idea had to do that myself. Kori was able to provide me with a layout and decorative ideas using interior design software. This was AMAZING as I am a very visual person. Kori was able to help me decide a color palette, wall art, decorative accents, and furniture placement. I was simply mind-blown by the process and how she was able to turn my vision into reality! I would definitely use her again, as well as refer her services.

Kori is very professional and the services that she provides are top notch. The programs she uses really gives a great look on how our project would look at the end. I was so excited and relieved to work with Horizon Interior Design. Kori provided advice while we were making decisions during the building phase of our home, she provided designs for a sunroom (see pic), and most recently, she designed and ordered furniture for my great room. She was attentive to detail and helped me to balance "old habits" with a contemporary touch. People who come over comment on how comfortable and welcoming our home is! I'm so grateful.

Kori helped us save our house! We had a dishwasher leak and needed to repair/remodel our kitchen. Kori helped guide us through the process and was very helpful and professional throughout. Kori offered multiple design options for our space. Every day we sit in our kitchen and are amazed how beautiful and functional it has become. From the start of our first floor remodel, Kori has been a joy to work with. She has a very positive and infectious attitude coupled with an easy going approach working with clients. I have known Kori personally and professionally for several years. I recently hired her to design the renovation of our master bathroom. She listened to my vision and went to work selecting the perfect tile combination. Her help with the paint selection was invaluable, She has a wonderful eye for design and attention to detail. On top of her excellent design skills, she is a delight to work with. She is always upbeat, friendly and positive. I would highly recommend her!

Unfortunately our experience in hiring Kori did not turn out the way we had hoped and expected. We were rather disappointed in the money we spent for initial design consult and the work that was presented to us along with the 4 hours of design time that we were told was spent on our project. At the initial consult she was struggling with ideas but assured us she would have more ideas once she started working on the design. However, the initial workup/design was very disappointing and did not show anything new or original that we had not already presented to her. The follow-up consult over the phone did little to remedy the situation and then she stopped communicating with us. Overall not a very good experience and felt we did not receive quality work/value for the money we paid. She has not reached back out at all in this time.

I haven’t worked with an interior designer before. I knew I wanted a change but I didn’t know anything else. I went on Next Door and they had the highest number of positive reviews. I interviewed a few but they stood out, really easy to talk with. I asked for help in making it my own place and I hoped people would like it. They helped me accomplish both, and I highly recommend them. I’m very happy with the process and the results.

I have used Horizon Designs for several large projects in my home. Kori and Jen are excellent to work with and have great ideas and resources. I would highly recommend using their services.
