A full service Interior Design Firm specializing in Residential and Commercial Projects. Karen Ice Burris is the Principal Designer her experience includes years working in the model home industry. She has successfully designed and installed hundreds of models across the U.S. and here in Austin. Her project experience insures all the details are arranged from the initial consultation to the final installation and after In home design consultations include paint color consultations, space planning including floor plans and furniture placement. Years of experience working on custom builds, additions and remodels. Kitchen and bathroom remodels are one of our specialties. Interior specifications include assisting with tile selection and design, flooring, and paint color selections. Virtual office and low overhead - Ice Interior Design's business model does not include high overhead to cover costly office rents. Clients save money because we do not require higher mark ups to cover that cost. To the trade only Vendor accounts - Buying directly we are able to cut out the retail mark up, as a result there is no hourly charge on projects that involve purchasing product. We have fabulous Trade accounts that provide more choices for a unique look. We can provide furniture, custom upholstery, art, accessories, unique bedding, and custom window treatments. Established in 2008. From the time Karen was a young girl and had the opportunity to make design choices for herself in her family's new home, she knew she had a gift for working with colors and textures. As a result she went on to pursue a career in Interior Design and graduated with her degree in 1991. Karen has amassed extensive experience in the years following working on homes in all design styles from traditional to modern and everything in between. Her experience includes Designer Show Homes, Residential, and Model Homes. Multiple remodeling projects and custom builds.
