Stephanie was great to work with on a home remodel. She developed the plan for a new kitchen layout and with the selection of counter tops and paint colors. The project turned out better than we expected! She also provided suggestions for finishes and furniture layout for our family room. Picking paint colors is never easy. Stephanie helped select colors that really gave the house a fresh new look.

Stephanie did a color consult for me and went above and beyond to help me pick the right colors for my new condo. She had awesome ideas and suggestions! It was a real pleasure to work with her! Really love DuVäl’s work. He is definitely someone I need to make the right design solutions for me. I had so many ideas in my head and Duval in his professional way advises me the best. I truly enjoy the whole process and am in progress with phase 2. The only thing I didn’t do was check the kitchen cabinetries when it came in and the wrong cabinets were delivered incorrectly from the vendor. It did delay a month. In the end though despite the delay in that regards, I chose Duval Design. I’ve gotten so many compliments on my kitchen. Just choose them, you won’t regret it!

It is hard to understate the importance of home decor now that we are all spending more time than we ever expected at home. Now that I work from home on a semi-permanent basis, I felt that the investment in DuVäl's company's services were well worth it to transform my home office into a space I enjoyed being in. Duval is a fantastic designer. We recently completed a lounge bathroom remodel. Duval guided me through the entire design process from concept to selecting materials through installation and finishing details. I wanted to be actively involved in the design process and Duval was amazingly flexible, patient and supportive. At every step in the design process Duval was highly responsive and met tight time deadlines. His technical drawings were impeccable, and his design skills to pull together color, style, and symmetry into a cohesive design are terrific. He anchored the overall design with a beautiful Lao textile I picked up during a swing through Southeast Asia. This design inspiration was the final piece that was installed, tying the entire design together in a beautiful blue bow. In addition to his design chops on space planning, developing color palettes, and selecting materials, Duval was always available to resolve any issues that arose during the project and always provided thoughtful solutions. Duval is delightful to work with and I really appreciate his calm demeanor and light touch which makes doing stressful home design projects enjoyable. We’ve already started work on another design project. So should you.

Duväl is amazing! He completely transformed my loft space into something super comfortable and livable, with style and meaning. I highly recommend his design services to anyone. Duval picked the finishes for our new-construction home and designed/furnished the first floor. He did an amazing job, working to understand our style, and truly made the house a home. The kids and guests all remark how comfortable they feel even though this is a brand new environment.

We hired DuVäl Design to redesign our office after reviewing a number of proposals from firms in the area. What stood out for us was their ability to take our very rough vision and put together a concept that flowed. From the furniture, to the small details like accent pieces and wall coverings. I am thrilled to recommend DuVäl Designs, LLC to anyone looking for a professional, thorough, and thoughtful design for their space.  DuVäl took the time to get to know our needs and wishes for the space.  He offered logical suggestions and helped us develop the perfect floor plan for a full basement renovation.  I thought having a professional designer help with our basement would be cost prohibitive.  With transparent pricing available on the website, I knew the design service would fit into our budget and I would not be wasting anyones time asking for an estimate only to find I could not afford the service. As much as I wish our fixer upper were already completely fixed, I'm actually glad to have other projects where I can call on DuVäl Designs for assistance.  As far as I'm concerned he has earned a customer for life.

DuVal has been instrumental in helping my husband and I get to a point where two clashing styles/tastes can come together and live (beautifully) in harmony under the same roof.
