About the Contractor
We are a local, woman owned, business. Leland's Wallpaper was founded in 1981 by Gary and Kathy Leland who retired in June 2021. The company has moved from Cooper Street and is now owned by the previous store manager. Our retail store/showroom is open to the public as well as to the trade. We are a stocking dealer with about 240 patterns in stock. Our book library has both commercial and residential collections. We are the new DFW dealer for EndureWalls by Tedlar. Kathy started in Arlington as a school art teacher and branched out first into custom blinds for new home development. As clients were satisfied with their installations they began to ask Kathy's advice on home decor such as draperies, bedding, flooring and more. Thus the business grew. Leland's had one of the very first websites for home decor, and continues to evolve with technology, now featuring a YouTube channel, a home decor blog, Twitter page, Facebook page, and Pinterest page.
