About the Contractor
Make Room Architecture & Design LLC (MRAD) is a full-service boutique design firm that works with consumers, builders, and contractors in Indiana & Michigan. The firm is founded by two design professionals, Todd Miller AIA and Velvet Canada Matthews. They founded MRAD to solve a problem many design clients face: Choosing to hire a firm that understands beauty, or one that understands costs. MRAD’s expertise grew from a boots-on-the-ground construction management as part of a design build company. Their shared experience and relationships with contractors, bankers, appraisers, allows them to design beautiful spaces with a practical budget. Our passion is creating space or an environment that people want to experience over and over again.
