Although I had owned an upholstery business in Colorado for 10 years in the 80's, upon moving to California I embarked on expanding my knowledge to become a complete interior designer. I worked for a company that serviced the dept. stores such as Macys, Gottchalks, Strouds and a high end furniture company called Homestead House for their custom work such as window coverings, flooring, bedding, reupholstery, etc. I was then offered a position at the furniture company & went on to become one of their senior designers, selling over a million dollars worth of furniture the last year I was with them. Unfortunately they closed their doors which led me into opening NVI. It got so busy in 2006 that my husband, a window treatment installer for many years & at the time had been selling furniture for 6 years, joined up with me. We have been partners ever since. With our company, you get the experience of two very seasoned, very experienced home service professionals.
