Blessed with creativity from early childhood, Janelle Williamson attended the Fashion Institute of Technology and the Art Institute of Pittsburgh where she Studied design. Janelle's apartment eventually became a canvas for her vision, And let fly a passion for interior design. Inspired by her creative and comfortable space, girlfriends began to "pick Janelle's brain," until one suggested that she start her own company. Novia--‐aptly meaning "girlfriend" in Spanish--‐was born! At Novia Design Studio, Janelle works to meld lighting, color, fabric, texture and personal style to create a room that is worth living or working in-a warm, meaningful space.
