TapeMeasure was originally founded by Anna Maraldo in 1986 as Reupholstery by Anna and Luigi. The company survived two floods in its original Thornwood location by building a reputation for quality workmanship and competitive pricing over two decades. Anna sold the business in 2011. The new owners changed the name and move the company show room and workroom to downtown Pleasantville. Anna continues to work for the company employing her skills a principal seamstress.
