The Closet Co. is Nashville's first and only independent closet company. For 40 years, we've manufactured, created jobs, and bought from suppliers right here in Nashville. In 1984, we brought the brand-new custom closet industry to Nashville. Soon after came the rapid expansion of franchises, fueld by standards, limits, and compromise. During this period, The Closet Co. solidified its local commitment to service, quality, and value by maintaining its independence. In 2018, Adam Floyd purchsed the business from his father, Frank. Since then, we've invested in our fleet, facilities, technology, and manufacturing. These investments embody our ongoing commitment to our clients, to our team, and to our amazing city for another 40 years. Established in 1984. Our company was founded by industry pioneer, Frank Floyd, in 1984. An avid woodworker, Frank held positions in sales and marketing that carried him to California often. California was the incubator for the custom closet industry, and Frank decided to apply his skills as a woodworker and bring the concept to the Southeast. Frank opened 5 Closet Companies across the region, and as his young family grew, gradually sold all but the Nashville location. The mission has always been to maintain independent control for the benefit of the customer. This independence allows for better designs, better construction, more creativity, and significantly better prices. Our company became a 2nd generation family business in 2018 when Adam Floyd purchased the company from his father, Frank. Adam grew up hammer-in-hand. At his father's heels in the shop and on job-sites, Adam shares his father's love of quality woodwork and a happy customer.
