In 1908, Edwin Toms & George Price opened the 1st Toms-Price furniture store on Wabash Ave. in Chicago which specialized in furniture handmade by local craftsmen. In 1940, Mr. Toms retired leaving the company to the Price family. In 1955, Edward Price moved the store to Wheaton where we provided the best in Colonial & traditional furniture. In 1997, David Price opened a 2nd store in Lincolnshire where we branched out to offer a variety of furniture styles, rugs & accessories. Over the years, Toms Price Home has put more emphasis on interior design services - including lighting, window treatments, wall coverings, & rugs. Scott Price joined the company in 2003 & opened stores in Bloomingdale, Skokie & South Barrington. Toms Price Home opened a flagship store in Oak Brook in 2022 & returned to Chicago in 2023 with a store in the Lincoln Park neighborhood. Each store has furniture from 100+ top manufacturers, a rug studio, mattresses & a design center where you can work with our designers!
